When posting a work, please follow the Guidelines and select the most appropriate category for your content from the list below.

• All ages
  • There's nothing within the work that needs to be age-restricted
• Only mild sexual depictions (Novel works do not need to set this)
  
  • Works containing sexual themes or obscene content, including mild ones (refer to the Guidelines for more details).
  • Works marked as containing slightly sexual content will be rated as potentially containing sensitive content. About work ratings
• R-18 (Sexually explicit content)
  • Anything sexually related, or works that depict contact between genitalia, or anything which strongly resembles any sexual act.
• R-18G (grotesque/violent content)
  • Scenes with intense violence, ideas, or realistic depictions of life that could be highly dangerous or disturbing to minors.

Works marked as R-18 or R-18G will not be visible to the following users:

• Users under 18
• Users who have set their accounts viewing restrictions to not display R-18 or R-18G works.

Please note that tagging your work with R-18 or R-18G does not limit who is able to view it. You will need to manually set the appropriate age restriction.

Furthermore, you will need to make sure your works are appropriately censored using pixelation or other techniques according to our Guidelines. pixiv is based in Japan, and as such, Japanese law (including those regarding pornography) applies to all content posted on pixiv.
If we determine that work you've posted is not taking the appropriate censorship actions, we take measures that include suspending your account.
